PROGRAM MAP

The Mastering Leadership Program is designed to zero in and master real world leadership challenges specifically in the areas of essential conversations with people, influencing by being an agent of change, coaching and mentorship, and decision making;

In this program there will be wide use of case studies for group work, simulations for personal and group learning, as well as the introduction of a decision making model & tool set.

Certificate of Completion:

Each participant is responsible for all readings, assignments and tasks and is evaluated upon completion of every module on a 100% scale. Participants must reach an overall score of at least 80% to receive the certificate of completion.

Learning Objectives:

  • Master the practice of conducting crucial conversations
  • Understand and implement the principles of influencing change
  • Understand and implement a structured decision making model
  • Networking and peer support

 

The program includes:

  • 24 hours in total (plus accountability check-ins)
  • 6 half day learning sessions (4 hours each) that can be done within 6 to 12 months
  • 4 accountability check-ins (90 minutes) with Results to reinforce personal development
  • Learning pods of 10 leaders from all levels and business units
  • Self-assessments and goal setting exercises
  • Creation of Accountability Pairs to ensure development progress between workshops
  • Expert facilitation of best practices and real world applications
  • Meaningful dialogue and debate of all leaders to strengthen the organization

 

Execution Modules

Crucial Conversations (8 hours)

Objectives of this execution module:

  1. Learn how to master the quality and frequency of crucial conversations
  2. Learn the three choices involved in crucial conversations
  3. Learn the Law of Crucial Conversations based on twenty years of research
  4. Case Study & Role Play to become confident in the execution of a crucial conversation

 

Making Effective Decisions (4 hours)

Objectives of this execution module:

  1. Learn about leadership effectiveness and how to leverage leadership skills to successfully execute and deliver results
  2. Learn the difference between problem solving and decision making
  3. Learn how to utilize and implement the G.R.O.W. model
  4. Learn the 3 C’s of Decision Making

 

Influencing Change (8 hours)

Objectives of this execution module:

  1. Learn how to implement the Three Keys to Influence
  2. Learn about the Six Sources of Influence
  3. Learn how to plan your change initiative
  4. Participants will create a change initiative plan and present it to the group

 

Coaching for Performance (4 hours)

Objectives of this execution module:

  1. Learn about the Essence of Coaching
  2. Learn about the concept of “Manager as Coach”
  3. Learn how to coach and ask effective questions
  4. Review the G.R.O.W. Model
