Spiders in Space: Successfully Adapting to Unwanted Change

todd-hirschFrom small disappointments to heartbreaking tragedies, unwanted change requires us to adapt to a harsher environment. Like the spiders sent into space by NASA that found ways to spin their webs without the aid of gravity, we must find ways to overcome the pitfalls that life places in our path.

Drawing on inspiring stories of individuals, organizations and businesses, Todd Hirsch will explore a selection of adaptive traits that can help us not only survive, but thrive when unwanted change comes our way.

Based on Todd’s latest book with co-author Rob Roach, this 45-minute presentation is a timely topic given the unwanted change brought about by two years of recession in Alberta.

Todd’s presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with a select few Alberta Business Leaders who have either experienced or are anticipating dramatic change in their environment. There will be ample opportunity for questions, and networking with the panel members, Todd, and fellow participants.
